“Kaja” Printed and Bound at the New Orleans Glassworks & Printmaking Studio
The New Orleans Glassworks & Printmaking Studio is proud to be a part of New Orleans’ literary history with the publication of Kaja, a pamphlet containing poems by the Beat poet Kay “Kaja” Johnson, who was also a visual artist and founded the New School Press from her French Quarter home. In 1999, Kaja was published by Edwin Blair of Perdido Press and was printed and bound at the New Orleans Glassworks & Printmaking Studio. A copy can be viewed along with the collection of artifacts of literary history donated by Edwin Blair to the New Orleans Historic Collection.
