Enroll Today! Printmaking: Relief and Drypoint

All levels welcome! In this 4-week printmaking intensive, students will combine both the wood-cut Relief (wood cut copper Drypoint printmaking processes to create an edition of fine art prints.

Students will learn the basics of Relief, such as proper tool handling and carving, ink mixing, and printing on a flatbed printing press. As well as gaining an understanding of Relief printmaking techniques, students will also be taught the basics of Copper Drypoint, like how to cut and prep their copper plate, how to use and handle the various mark-making tools, and the Drypoint printing process.
