Our motto for Seasonal Creations is carpe tempus! or, "seize the season," by endeavoring into the alchemy of our hands-on Seasonal Specials workshops. The New Orleans Glassworks & Printmaking Studio, therefore, is happy to announce that in light of the approaching holiday season, we are now offering our annual Glass Ornament Workshop.
Bejewel your favorite tree, or adorn a loved one with this one-of-a-kind creation!
We invite all to enjoy hands-on in this exciting glassblowing experience. Whether making arrangements for yourself, your family, or your group, you will receive step-by-step instruction under the guidance of one of our master craftsmen. As with all of our Seasonal Creations, this activity is optimal for all ages, and no prior experience is necessary.
This workshop is approximately thirty (30) minutes in length per glass ornament.
Regardless as to whether you create your own glass ornament or not, we have a beautiful selection of colorful, hand-crafted ornaments of all colors and themes – all on display and all for sale.
Out-of-town visitors may also opt to incorporate this Seasonal Creation into one of our two-hour walk-ins. Alternatively, this thirty-minute workshop may be arranged on the heels of a previously scheduled two-hour short course.
