Honoring Cher Ami, Pigeon Hero of World War I

This month, we honor Cher Ami, a carrier pigeon and hero of World War I. On his last mission on October 4th, 1918, Cher Ami was hit twice by enemy fire but completed his mission even though injured and saved the lives of 200 soldiers.

We will be honoring Cher Ami this month with glass carrier pigeons created in our hot shop.
